The speaker is going to explain some of the major factors which exert pressure on the sector from the outside. He mainly be looking at some of the different types of external influences which affect the way businesses in tourism and hospitality operate.
2. What are the three main factors that the lecturer will discuss?
The speaker focus mainly in three areas; politics, economics and very importantly the environment.
3. What does the lecturer remind everybody of before he begins?
Well he start by saying his name, his profession and his specialty. At the end, he remember us five
elements which form the tourism system, one, tourist, two, TGRs (that's tourism generating regions)
three, transit route, four, TDRs (tourism destination regions) and five, tourism industries.

2. Governments often try to protect their country's businesses by signing up to a regional trading group which imposes tariffs or quotas. Governments often encourage foreign companies and visitors to come into the country and visit sites and attractions or set up new operations and tourist venues such as hotels, theme parks and food chains.

1. If a business is as efficient as it possibly can be, there is less waste and therefore lower costs.
2. Tourism businesses need to take a look at how they can reduce waste. For example audit and advice on waste reduction.

Tourism and Hospitality businesses need to use more glass and less plastic, cooking oil can be extremely danger to the environment, use organic and fresh ingredients, the advertising, service offers of the hotel and many paper transcript information, using the Internet or technological devices. Water is the most important resources that our nature can give us, we are taking it away with our actions, so a master plan to reuse and safe water. 4. Eco- certified; means "you are the real deal", means that your business is currently a sustainable tourism, it is certified has a environmental friendly. But is important to know who is the company that certified has eco friendly.
